Net High Stakes Poker- Gus Hansen

Gus Hansen had an amazing year on the World Poker Tour where he was the only player to achieve closing poker table in three of the tournaments. Gus Hansen has been seen on High Stakes Poker on The Game Show Network where he paid $400, 000 to play. You may recall one of the largest pots in big stakes poker recorded history up against Daniel Negreanu. He secured a large pot with 4 of a kind against Negreanu’s full house. Gus has made many tv poker appearances and is considered to be one of the greatest bettors around the world. While gambling on online poker, another side of Hansen has been seen. He regularly participates in the 200/400 No Limit max buy-in of Forty Thousand dollars. Gus usually buys-in for the minimum of $16, 000 and gambles very poorly. He waits for a good hand and then goes all-in. I accept that Gus is an outstanding poker player but certainly not even close to the regular players at 200/400no limit. Unless he is flat broke, he has no reason to settle at the table with the min buy in.

Buying in for the minimum takes almost all of the ability out of deep stack poker. Gus is accepted to be one of the best players anywhere in the world but he can’t buy-in for the full amt.. I believe television can skew our view of the real world every now and then. The greatest poker players anywhere in the world might be players you have will not have heard about. Gus can be seen participating in net poker on Full Tilt. He commonly participates in high stakes omaha high and hold’em. Gus Hansen has shown himself as a competition player. Can he use his skills in cash rounds?
